I NEED HELP.

United Way is working to advance the common good. We focus our efforts in three impact areas: Education, Self-Sufficiency and Health. These are the building blocks of a good life: Equipping people with the tools to reach their full potential, empowering them to live independently, and promoting health and healing.

Chris Gardner, the inspirational author of The Pursuit of Happyness joined us at the beginning of this quest, reminding each of us that “It’s going to be friends, family and folks in our community who will make a difference in the lives of people who live in our community.”

Truer words could not have been spoken.

On April 20th, our community will come together again at the first annual Spirit of the Community Awards celebration. We will be honoring the many organizations and individuals who are making our community better through giving, advocating and volunteering. TESTIMONIALS:

Giving to United Way is similar to investing in a Mutual Fund. I am able to give to one organization which it turn allocates to multiple agencies in the community based on need. I dont have to evaluate the need myself, the United Way does it for me.
